Ricky is the person who made Home Barista Institute possible. He is highly skilled and is passionate about coffee and teaching. Ricky first started teaching coffee classes as a hobby in his previous city café called Knock Box. He loved conducting courses so much that he decided to create a purpose-built establishment that is HBI today.

 
 

     

Rita has been a professional barista for over 6 years and owned and managed 3 cafes. Rita holds coffee classes in Chinese language, writes weekly coffee articles for Chinese newspapers and hosts coffee talks at Chinese radio station. Rita also facilitates Café Entrepreneur's Boot Camp helping cafe buyers and cafe owners. Rita has helped hundred of café owners across Australia to successfully buy, build, manage and sell their coffee shops.
